N. William Metke
Bill Metke is an associate attorney at Casas Riley & Simonian LLP. His practice is devoted to civil litigation, largely specializing in employment law. Bill has represented clients in the California and Federal Courts, before state administrative bodies, and in private arbitration. His litigation background includes matters alleging discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, and other related issues, as well as various business disputes.
 
Prior to joining Casas Riley & Simonian in 2008, Bill worked with partner Greg Simonian at an established Bay Area civil defense firm where he was a member of the employment and general litigation teams.
 
Bill's employment law practice is enhanced by the diversity of his own professional background, which comprises work in finance, education, and the arts. Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Romance Languages and Literatures from Nazareth College of Rochester, NY. He has studied at l'Universite d'Haute Bretagne in Rennes, France and at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he held a graduate teaching assistantship. He is conversant in French.
 
Bill is a 2002 graduate of the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he received the CALI Award for Academic Excellence in Legal Research and Writing, membership in the McAuliffe Honor Society, and a Certificate in Public Interest Law. As a law student, Bill clerked for three different nonprofit legal aid organizations, including the Employment Law Center in San Francisco. He has held memberships in the USF Inn of Court, the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, and the National Lawyers' Guild.
