MARTIN NGUYEN
|
Martin H. Nguyen is an associate with Casas Riley & Simonian.
Martin regularly counsels clients in all aspects of commercial law including acquisition,
protection, and leveraging of intellectual property rights. Martin has authored patent applications
in various disciplines including medical devices, software, business methods, and related areas.
In addition, Martin routinely prosecutes and obtains domestic and foreign trademark registrations
on behalf of his clients. Along with other members of Casas Riley & Simonian, Martin assists clients
in realizing the maximum potential of their intellectual property rights. Martin is also a member of
the firm's litigation team, counseling and representing clients in both state and federal actions across
a variety of subject matters. Martin has obtained favorable results for his clients through pre-trial counseling,
dispositive motions, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
While in law school, Martin served as a patent agent and law clerk to the
Chief Patent Counsel of NASA Ames Research Center. Upon graduation, Martin
completed a term as a judicial law clerk and research attorney in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Immediately prior to joining Casas Riley & Simonian, Martin was a litigation associate in an AV-rated
full-service firm based out of San Francisco.
Martin is a graduate of Santa Clara University School of Law (J.D., 2003) and the University of
California at Los Angeles (B.S., Physiological Science, 1998).
